    Brother Adams ,
Thank you for answering that Brothers question re: something referred to as self forgiveness. Although during first marriage from 1979-1996, myself & my wife we’re both Christians & I was never unfaithful, I have to admit I was negligent in showing her Christ’s Love. Also I would sometimes list after other women, so therefore just as guilty as committing adultery. I have looked up & written out Ephesians 4:17 & must no longer walk in this futility of the mind. As a retired man, I have made more time time study God’s Word , whereas even when I was working FT, didn’t go into the depth of study & application like I should have if I would of been better at simple time management. Both older adult sons are born again & I encourage them to take the time for Gods Word everyday no matter what.
    Thank you for your perspective

Very helpful, thank you, in discipling there are those who claim they cannot forgive themselves – and this answers the dilemma.
