“Of what? Watermelons? Peppers? Tomatoes?”

No. You know what I’m talking about.

“Yeah . . . Christians.”

Right. There’s the one who simply doesn’t care; the one who does care, but has a hard time changing . .

“And the kind that has changed a bit, but doesn’t show it in his/her life.”

And the one who is growing and changing every day.

“Right. Now, what are you getting at?”

No idea? You were pretty swift on the uptake in the previous answer.

“Yeah. I think I know.”

Well, then, tell me.

“You want to know which kind I am. Right”

Close. Which you are—and what you are doing about it if you don’t fit into the fourth class.

“If I think about it, I guess I’m one of those who wants to change but isn’t making as good progress as I’d like.

So, you’re a # 2 type.

“Guess so.”

What are you doing about it?

“O, not much . . . I guess I just don’t know what to do.”

Have you gone to your pastor or one of the elders in your church and asked for help?

“No.”

Think you ought to?

“Probably.”

Will you?

“Guess I should.”

Guess? What is there to guess about?

“Nothing. I’ll do it.”

Great!
