Today, I’m looking at the local weather report. It says thunder, lightening and rain. The only problem is that, looking out the window, it isn’t doing any of those things.
Isn’t it great that the forecasts in the Bible aren’t like that? When God predicts something you can be sure that it will take place exactly as He prophesied. Sadly, many believe false reports about Jesus.
For instance, the Jews didn’t believe Jesus was the Messiah—they accepted a false weather report when—right in front of their faces—there He was! He said they should have known the signs of the times.
If they had believed Moses and the prophets, they would have believed in Him. Don’t be like them. Trust the trustworthy Scriptures—believe in Jesus Christ as the One Who died for guilty sinners like you and is calling to all of those for whom He died to hear and believe what the Bible says—that He died for their sins and rose again from the dead.
